🧭 Directions from Utah Motorsports:
Take Timpanogos Highway (UT-92) east into American Fork Canyon. A fee station is located just past the canyon entrance — most OHV access begins around Tibble Fork Reservoir.


 Trail Overview & Terrain Type

American Fork Canyon is part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and features miles of singletrack and two-track routes with ever-changing elevation.

 Key Riding Areas:

  • Mineral Basin Trail – technical, high-elevation

  • Forest Lake Trail – intermediate to advanced

  • Snake Creek Pass – connects to Midway

  • Silver Lake Flat Loop – beginner-friendly & scenic

 Terrain Highlights:

  • Elevation: 6,000–10,000 ft

  • Terrain: Forest, alpine meadows, switchbacks, rocky climbs

  • Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced (varies by trail)

  • Seasonal Access: Open late June–October (snow dependent)

  • No cell service on most trails — plan accordingly

  • $6/day per vehicle for canyon access

  • Annual passes accepted (America the Beautiful, etc.)
