Full Transparency · No Surprises

Damage,
Responsibility
& What to Expect

Renting off-road equipment should be exciting, not stressful. This page explains how we handle damage, inspections, payments, late returns, and common concerns so you can book with confidence. Our goal is full transparency, fairness, and safety for every rider.

Our Philosophy

Fair, Transparent,
and Safety-Focused

We genuinely want every renter to have a great experience. We also need clear guidelines in place so we can operate safely, protect our equipment, and keep things reliable for every customer.

Transparency & Trust
Clear policies before you book — no hidden terms, no surprises.
Rider & Public Safety
Rules exist to keep you, other riders, and the public safe.
Fair Responsibility
When damage occurs, charges are tied directly to actual repair costs.

Damage Policy

What Counts
as Damage?

We ask that all machines are returned in the same condition they were taken out in. We understand that off-road riding naturally causes some wear, and not all marks are treated as damage.

Normal Wear & Tear — Typically Not Charged
Light scratches or small scuffs from normal riding
Minor cosmetic marks that do not affect function or structure
What We Consider Damage

Damage generally means wear beyond normal riding use, including:

Large or excessive scratches, scuffs, or gouges
Cracked, broken, or torn components such as plastics or quarter panels
Damage that affects safety, functionality, or structural integrity

In most cases, we do not charge solely to replace decals or cosmetic plastics unless something is cracked, torn, or compromised.

Inspections & Documentation

How Equipment
Is Inspected

Every vehicle is inspected after each rental.

Before & After Each Rental
Photos are taken before each rental and after each rental to document condition and resolve any disputes.
Available on Request
Images are not automatically shared but are available to you upon request.
72-Hour Notification
If damage is identified, renters are notified within 72 hours after the rental ends.

Responsibility During Your Rental

Who Is
Responsible?

While In Your Possession

While the machine is in your possession, it is your responsibility.

Mechanical Issues

If a mechanical failure occurs that was not caused by improper use, and is confirmed after the machine is returned and assessed — a refund is typically issued for the unused portion of the rental time affected by that issue.

Repair Costs

No Hidden
Fees

Repair charges are based on the cost of replacement parts and the labor time required to install or complete the repair.

No Admin Charges
No administrative or hidden charges are added.

Important: There is no maximum damage charge unless an optional Damage Waiver has been added.

Security Deposits & Payments

No Security
Deposits Required

How It Works
A valid card is required to be kept on file
No authorization hold is placed
Nothing is charged unless necessary
If a Charge Is Required
The full amount is clearly communicated
You are asked to confirm before the card on file is charged

Optional Add-On

An optional Damage Waiver is available for $50 per machine per rental for added peace of mind.

What the Waiver Covers
Caps your out-of-pocket cost at $1,500 per machine
Caps your out-of-pocket cost at $5,000 for Northstar units

What the Waiver Does Not Cover

Upon request, we can provide copies of invoices for parts and labor related to repairs. Full waiver details are provided during the booking process.

Late Returns & After-Hours
