The Arapeen OHV Trail System in the Manti-La Sal National Forest is one of the most expansive and scenic off-road networks in the western United States. Spreading across 350,000 acres with 600+ miles of UTV-friendly trail, Arapeen is Utah's bucket-list destination for riders who want more than just a day ride.
Getting There
Main trailhead at the Highway 31 staging area near Fairview, UT. Head south on I-15 to Spanish Fork, then take US-6 east to UT-116, connecting to UT-31 toward Fairview Canyon.
GPS staging area: 39.6264°N, 111.4396°W. Multiple access points exist from Sanpete and Emery Counties.

Best Season
- Summer (June–August): Full trail access, wildflowers
- Fall (September–October): Peak aspen color, cooler riding
- Avoid spring: Trails are muddy and many are closed until late June
- Avoid winter: High elevation means snow from October through June
